July Sprouting Project Dinner: Stone Fruit
Saturday, July 11, 2020
06:00 PM - 08:00 PM
The Sprouting Project
39 Beach Lagoon Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, USA
A stone fruit is a fruit in which an outer part of the fruit surrounds a single hardened shell with a seed inside. These fruits usually develop from flowers and produce some of our favorite food. Working with local Georgia farmers at Abbot Farms, this Sprouting Project dinner invites guests to experience a variety of stone fruits including coffee, almonds, coconut, cherries, dates and peaches.
Guests will enjoy an intimate southern-inspired true farm-to-table dinner at The Sprouting Project, our culinary team’s answer to hyper-local sustainability. The dinner includes a tour of the resort's state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse, expansive organic garden and large collection of beehives while enjoying passed bites and harvest inspired cocktails, all before a five-course chef inspired dinner that incorporates items gathered directly from The Sprouting Project. This monthly event will showcase both the creativity and culture of our chefs in a lush, outdoor setting.
July theme: Stone Fruit
The evening kicks off with cocktails and light bites at 6:00 p.m. followed by a five-course dinner at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited.
$86.24 (inclusive of taxes & service charge) plus online processing fee per person. Cash bar.
