November Sprouting Project Dinner: Pecan
Saturday, November 14, 2020
06:00 PM - 08:00 PM
The Sprouting Project
39 Beach Lagoon Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, USA
The pecans we use from Cohen Farms in Georgia are some of the most delectable you’ll ever taste. Pecans do not originate from a single seed, instead every native pecan tree is different from its seed parent resulting in thousands of types of pecan varieties. This Sprouting Project dinner will focus on unique flavor profiles produced by the pecan tree and the lesser known pecan truffle.
Guests will enjoy an intimate southern-inspired true farm-to-table dinner at The Sprouting Project, our culinary team’s answer to hyper-local sustainability. The dinner includes a tour of the resort's state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse, expansive organic garden and large collection of beehives while enjoying passed bites and harvest inspired cocktails, all before a five-course chef inspired dinner that incorporates items gathered directly from The Sprouting Project. This monthly event will showcase both the creativity and culture of our chefs in a lush, outdoor setting.
November theme: Pecan
The evening kicks off with cocktails and light bites at 6:00 p.m. followed by a five-course dinner at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited.
$86.24 (inclusive of taxes & service charge) plus online processing fee per person. Cash bar.
