06:00 PM - 08:00 PM
The Sprouting Project
39 Beach Lagoon Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, USA
By itself, pumpkin tastes similar to other winter squashes, although there are some varieties that are sweeter, fresh pumpkin has a bright and nutty flavor. This Sprouting Project Dinner will showcase a variety of pumpkins including: peanut pumpkin, pie pumpkin, lumina pumpkin and cinderella pumpkin, all harvested locally at Conner’s Amazing Acres Farm.
Guests will enjoy an intimate southern-inspired true farm-to-table dinner at The Sprouting Project, our culinary team’s answer to hyper-local sustainability. The dinner includes a tour of the resort's state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse, expansive organic garden and large collection of beehives while enjoying passed bites and harvest inspired cocktails, all before a five-course chef inspired dinner that incorporates items gathered directly from The Sprouting Project. This monthly event will showcase both the creativity and culture of our chefs in a lush, outdoor setting.
